Maya Blu (born Miriam Adjei) is a Ghanaian Afrobeats singer from Accra. She signed with Lynx Entertainment in 2022, and was nominated for Unsung Act at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards and Best New Artist in 2024.
Background
She started out as an actress. At 15 she sang at a church rehearsal, and the pianist noticed her voice; that connection eventually led her to Lynx Entertainment, the label behind KiDi and Kuami Eugene.
Career
Her 2022 singles For You, Good Girl No Dey Pay and My Ebony introduced her under Lynx, and her EP Just Blu on It followed in 2023, along with singles such as Sho and Talk Too Much. She later left Lynx, and has said her sudden exit came as a big shock.
She continued independently with My Baby and Queens (2024) and the EP Just Blu On It II (2025).
