About Masoud Baba Abdul-Rahman
Masoud Baba Abdul-Rahman is an educationist who represented Pru, in today's Bono East Region, for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He was born on 4 December 1952 and comes from Yeji.
He studied botany and education at the University of Cape Coast, graduating in 1979, and was deputy director at Ruyan Consult and Future Leaders Academy. He won Pru in 2004 with 63.1 percent of the vote and held it in 2008 with 42.1 percent in a six-way race. The constituency was later split into Pru East and Pru West. He is married with five children.
