He attended Kadjebi L/A Middle School and has farmed all his working life. He won Afram Plains South in 2004 with 60.8 percent of the vote and in 2008 with 63.7 percent. Joseph Appiah Boateng followed him for the NDC and holds the seat today. He is a Catholic, married with ten children.
