About Timothy Ataboadey Awotiirim
Timothy Ataboadey Awotiirim is a teacher and former human rights investigator who represented Builsa North in the Upper East Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2013. He was born at Wiaga on 1 July 1970.
He graduated in geography and resource development from the University of Ghana in 2000. He was an investigator with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice from 1994 to 2004 and taught at Christ the King JSS in Chiana. He won Builsa North in 2008 with 43.1 percent of the vote against Agnes Chigabatia of the NPP. James Agalga took the NDC ticket in 2012 and holds the seat today. He is a Catholic, married with two children.
