About Umar Abdul-Razak
Umar Abdul-Razak is an agriculturist and teacher who represented Tolon in the Northern Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He was born on 1 October 1975 and comes from Lungbunga.
He studied renewable natural resources at the University for Development Studies and taught at Tolon Senior High School. He won Tolon in 2004 and held it in 2008 with 50 percent of the vote, then lost in 2012 to Wahab Suhuyini Wumbei of the NPP. He is married with two children. Habib Iddrisu of the NPP holds Tolon today.
