About Betty Krosbi Mensah
Betty Krosbi Mensah is a businesswoman who represented Afram Plains North in the Eastern Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for two terms, from 2017 to 2025. She was born at Donkorkrom on 29 August 1980, the daughter of Krosbi Mensah, the first MP for Afram Plains.
She studied accounting at Koforidua Polytechnic and business at Zenith University College. She was deputy coordinator of the National Youth Employment Programme from 2009 to 2013 and managing director of Best Pat Ghana before she won Afram Plains North in 2016 with 78 percent of the vote. She was re-elected in 2020 and was vice-president of the Young Parliamentarians Forum. In 2024 she lost the seat by about 460 votes to the independent Worlase Kpeli. She is a Catholic, married with one child.
