Demordzi took an MBA in marketing at GIMPA and a postgraduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2009, and was commercial manager at Yara Ghana. He lost the seat in 2016 to the NPP's Habib Saad. He is married with three children. Felix Akwetey Okle of the NDC holds the seat today.
