Derek Ohene Assifo Bekoe is a National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician who represented Upper West Akim in the Eastern Region from 2017 to 2021. He was born on 6 April 1967.

He won the seat in 2016 by about 430 votes over the NPP's Eugene Sackey. In 2020 he lost it to the NPP's Frederick Obeng Adom. Emmanuel Drah won Upper West Akim back for the NDC in 2024.
