About Francis Addai-Nimoh
Francis Addai-Nimoh is a civil engineer and development planner who represented Mampong in the Ashanti Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2009 to 2017, and later ran for the party's presidential nomination. He was born on 23 March 1965 and comes from Mampong-Nyinampong.
Addai-Nimoh studied civil engineering at KNUST, graduating in 1993, and took an executive master's in public administration at GIMPA. He represented Mampong for two terms, then contested the NPP presidential primary in 2014. He lost the 2015 parliamentary primary, and in the 2023 race for the NPP flagbearership he finished fourth of four. He is married with three children. Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong holds Mampong today.
