About Kofi Mole
Kofi Mole, born Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah in Kumasi on 16 April 1993, is a hip hop and Afrobeats artiste who came through the GroundUp Chale movement.
Early life
He attended Armed Forces Senior High Technical School and enrolled to study psychology at the University of Ghana, but deferred to pursue music. Before the breakthrough he supported himself as a barber.
Career
His lead single Mensah, featuring Kwesi Arthur and produced by Kayso, came out in 2018 with backing from GroundUp Chale. Later that year Sarkodie brought him onto Biibi Ba, one of the biggest hip hop songs of the year, which was nominated for Best Hip Hop Song at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He won Next Rated Act at the 2019 3Music Awards. He also designs some of his own clothes.
