Kojo Asemanyi

Kojo Asemanyi is a New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician who represented Gomoa East in the Central Region from 2017 to 2021. He was born on 10 September 1979 and comes from Gomoa Buduatta. He is an elder of the Church of Pentecost.

Asemanyi holds an HND from Cape Coast Polytechnic, a degree in management studies from the University of Cape Coast and a master's in public administration from the University of Phoenix. He worked as a programme officer at World Vision Ghana, a sales supervisor at Tigo and, in the United States, at the US Postal Service. He won the NPP primary against Dr Marqus Yaw Danso. As MP he donated hospital beds to three health centres and premix fuel to about 2,300 fishermen. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo of the NDC holds the seat today.
