Kojo Bamba

Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, is a Ghanaian politician and the First National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He topped a field of 13 candidates for the party's three vice chairmanship slots at the National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on 3 October 2026, polling 3,116 votes.

Delta Force

A former auto mechanic, Boadu first became widely known as the leader of Delta Force, a pro-NPP vigilante group in the Ashanti Region that became notorious after the party's 2016 election victory. Under his leadership the group revolted against the appointment of George Adjei as Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator, a protest that ended in violence and court action, and members of the group were later convicted and fined. In 2018 the party appointed Boadu Deputy National Director of Operations of its youth wing, moving him into its formal structures.

Vice Chairman

In recent years he has presented himself as an advocate of peaceful elections, urging calm during the 2025 Akwatia by-election campaign. His bid for the vice chairmanship was built on grassroots welfare: he described constituency executives as the party's "frontline soldiers" who are "often sidelined when power is attained", and promised to fight for them. He serves under National Chairman John Boadu alongside Second Vice Chairman Henry Nana Boakye and Third Vice Chairman Nana Akomea.
