About Kwabena Amankwa Asiamah
Kwabena Amankwa Asiamah is an economist and banker who represented Fanteakwa, and then Fanteakwa North, in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for four terms, from 2009 to 2025. He was born on 28 August 1958 and comes from Begoro.
He holds an MBA in strategic management from the University of Hull and an executive master's in governance and leadership from GIMPA, and chaired the board of Fanteakwa Rural Bank. He won Fanteakwa in 2008 and the new Fanteakwa North seat in 2012, 2016 and 2020. He was vice-chairman of the Finance Committee. He is a Presbyterian, married with seven children. Kwame Appiah Kodua of the NPP holds Fanteakwa North today.
