Kwabena Ohemeng-Tinyase is a chartered accountant who represented Kade in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2017 to 2021. He was born at Kade on 6 April 1952.

He graduated in economics and political science from the University of Ghana in 1978, qualified as a chartered accountant and earned an MBA from the University of Warwick. From 2010 to 2016 he worked in Freetown, Sierra Leone, as a consultant on World Bank and IFAD rural development projects. He won Kade in 2016 with 69.9 percent of the vote. Alexander Agyare of the NPP followed him in 2021 and holds the seat today.
