About Prince Jacob Hayibor
Prince Jacob Hayibor was a teacher who represented Hohoe North in the Volta Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2013. He was born on 12 September 1962 and came from Gbi-Wegbe.
He took a master's in English at the University of Ghana, a postgraduate diploma in education at Cape Coast and an executive master's in governance at GIMPA, and taught at Obuasi Secondary Technical School. He won Hohoe North in 2008 with 73.5 percent of the vote against the NPP's John-Peter Amewu. He later chaired the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority. He was a Seventh-day Adventist, married with four children, and died in 2016, aged 54.
