About Benjamin Komla Kpodo
Benjamin Komla Kpodo is an accountant who represented Ho Central in the Volta Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for three terms, from 2013 to 2025. He was born on 22 December 1953 and comes from Tanyigbe.
Kpodo earned a degree in administration (accounting) from the University of Ghana in 1980 and an MSc in accounting from the University of Lagos in 1991. He worked as finance officer at the University of Education, Winneba. Ho Central is one of the NDC's safest seats, and Kpodo won it with about 80 percent of the vote in 2016 and 85 percent in 2020. He worships in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and is married with seven children. Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu succeeded him in 2025.
