About David Adakudugu
David Adakudugu (23 October 1968 – 19 September 2019) was a businessman and National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician who represented Tempane in the Upper East Region from 2013 to 2017.
Adakudugu came from Basyonde and studied marketing at Methodist University College. He was managing director of Noryini Commercial Limited in Kasoa and District Chief Executive for Garu-Tempane from 2009 to 2013. He died after a short illness at Tamale Teaching Hospital on 19 September 2019 and was buried in Basyonde. He was married to Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, with five children; she now represents Tempane in Parliament.
