About Della Sowah
Della Adjoa Sowah is a financial planner and businesswoman who represented Kpando in the Volta Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2013 to 2025 and served as a Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection. She was born in Kpandu on 23 November 1959.
Sowah studied social sciences at KNUST, graduating in 1981, and holds a diploma in finance and an MBA. She worked in research at ESSOR Ltd, ran marketing as managing director of DAPEG Ltd in the 1990s and was a partner and financial planner at Speed Masters from 2001 to 2012. She won Kpando in 2012 and held it for three terms. She is married with three children. Sebastian Fred Deh of the NDC succeeded her in 2025.
