About David Oppong Kusi
David Oppong Kusi is an architectural technologist who represented Ofoase-Ayirebi in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) until 2017. He was born on 9 August 1958 and comes from Akyem Ofoase.
Kusi studied architectural technology at KNUST and took an MBA in project management at the University of Ghana. He was contracts manager at the Department of Urban Roads. In 2005 he called for a ban on plastics, warning that Ghana was "selfishly mortgaging the survival of future generations for the convenience of the current generation". He is a Methodist, married with seven children. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah holds the seat today.
