He trained through City and Guilds and runs John Duoghr Construction. He won Lambussie in 2008 with 55.4 percent of the vote, beating the sitting NDC MP, Alice Teni Boon. Edward Kaale-Ewola Dery of the NDC took the seat in 2012. He is a Catholic, married with three children. Titus Kofi Beyuo of the NDC holds Lambussie today.
