About Moses Anim

Moses Anim is a biochemist and project manager who represented Trobu in the Greater Accra Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2013 to 2025. He was born on 25 April 1965 and comes from Adukrom in the Eastern Region.

Science and construction

Anim earned a BSc in biochemistry at the University of Ghana in 1991 and returned for an MBA in project management in 2005. Before politics he was project manager at Wilhelm Construction Company in Accra.

Twelve years in Parliament

He won Trobu in 2012 with close to 59 percent of the vote and held it in 2016. The 2020 race was his hardest, against the independent candidate Vida Oppong, but he kept the seat. In the 2024 NPP primary he lost to Gloria Owusu by 698 votes to 641, and she went on to win the seat. He is a member of the Church of Pentecost.
