About Nana Amoakoh Gyampa
Nana Amoakoh Gyampa is a psychologist and businessman who represented Upper Denkyira East in the Central Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2005 to 2021. He was born on 15 March 1958 and comes from Denkyira-Akropong.
Amoakoh attended Boa Amponsem Senior High School and studied psychology at York College. He entered Parliament in 2005 and served four terms before losing the June 2020 primary to Dr Festus Awuah Kwofie. He gave his old school, Boa Amponsem, a corn mill and bakery equipment. He is married with three children. Emelia Ankomah of the NDC holds the seat today.
