About Nana Amaniampong Marfo
Nana Amaniampong Marfo is a banker who represented Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) until 2021. He was born on 6 March 1957 and comes from Tetrem-Afigya.
Marfo attended Tetrem School and St Augustine's College, then studied finance and management at the University of Ghana, graduating in 1989, and took an MBA in marketing. After national service and three years as a senior superintendent in the Ghana Education Service, he spent almost two decades at Ghana Commercial Bank, where he headed small and medium enterprise lending for the northern sector from 1995 to 2012, while also lecturing at the University College of Education. He is a Baptist, married with two children. Collins Adomako-Mensah now holds the seat for the NPP.
