Dr Robert Baba Kuganab-Lem is a health researcher and university lecturer who represented Binduri in the Upper East Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) until 2021 and served as a Deputy Minister for Local Government. He was born on 24 November 1966.
Kuganab-Lem studied at the University of Ghana and KNUST, earned a PhD at Keele University in the United Kingdom and a public health qualification at Suez Canal University in Egypt. He was a research assistant at the Kintampo Health Research Centre and lectured at the University for Development Studies from 1999 to 2016 before becoming a deputy minister. He lost Binduri narrowly in 2020 to the NPP's Abdulai Abanga. Mahmoud Issifu of the NDC holds the seat today.
