About Benjamin Bimpong Donkor
Rev. Benjamin Bimpong Donkor is a pastor who represented Hemang Lower Denkyira in the Central Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for two terms, from 2005 to 2013. He was born on 7 July 1959 and comes from Jukwa-Mfuom.
He studied at the Heritage Bible Institute and leads Springs of Life Chapel International. He won the seat in 2004 with 61.9 percent of the vote and held it in 2008 with just 35 percent in a four-way race in which Bright Wireko-Brobby, standing as an independent, came second. The NDC's Foster Joseph Andoh won the seat in 2012. He is married with five children. Lawrence Agyinsam of the NPP holds Hemang Lower Denkyira today.
