About Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah
Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah is a chartered surveyor and procurement consultant who has represented Ho West in the Volta Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) since January 2009. He was born on 28 May 1967 and comes from Tsito-Awudome.
Surveyor
Bedzrah qualified as a chartered surveyor through the Ghana Institution of Surveyors after earning a Construction Technicians Certificate at Takoradi Polytechnic. He also holds a BSc in administration from the University of Ghana and a master's degree from GIMPA. Before politics he ran the Procurement and Project Management Consultancy as chief executive.
Parliament
He won Ho West in 2008 and has been returned at every election since, including 2024. His work in the House has centred on the Works and Housing and Standing Orders committees, and in 2021 he was sworn in as a member of the ECOWAS Parliament in Freetown. He is married with four children.
