About Ernest Attuquaye Armah
Ernest Attuquaye Armah is an architect and quantity surveyor who represented Accra's western outskirts for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) twice: Ga South from 2001 to 2005, and Trobu-Amasaman from 2009 to 2013. He was born on 27 August 1957 and comes from Afuaman.
He studied architecture at the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute in Ukraine, graduating in 1988, and was chief engineer at the Ga District Assembly. He won Ga South in 2000, lost the new Amasaman seat in 2004 to Samuel Nii Aryeetey Attoh of the NPP, and took Trobu-Amasaman in 2008 with 48.9 percent of the vote. The constituency was split into Trobu and Amasaman in 2012. He worships with the Church of Pentecost and is married with four children.
