About Henry Yeboah Yiadom-Boachie
Henry Yeboah Yiadom-Boachie is a youth and community development worker who represented Techiman South, in today's Bono East Region, for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2017 to 2021. He was born on 24 August 1972 and comes from Nsuta near Techiman.
He studied at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi and took an MPhil at the University of Ghana. He worked with Salesian Don Bosco centres in Nigeria and Ghana, then with Orphan Aid Africa, and from 2009 to 2016 as a community development officer with Newmont's Ahafo mine. He won Techiman South in 2016 by about 1,600 votes against the NDC's Adjei Mensah, and did not seek re-election in 2020. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah of the NPP holds the seat today.
