About Herod Cobbina
Herod Cobbina is a National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician who represented Sefwi-Akontombra in the Western (now Western North) Region for three terms, from 2005 to 2017. He comes from Akontombra.
Cobbina attended Sefwi Wiawso Secondary School and worked as district storekeeper for the Cocoa Inputs Company. After losing the 2015 NDC primary to Kenneth Yeboah he ran as an independent in 2016, taking about 15 percent of the vote as the NPP's Alex Tetteh Djornobuah won. He is a Catholic, married with three children. Pious Kwame Nkuah of the NDC holds the seat today.
