Joseph Richard Asiedu

Joseph Richard Asiedu was a judge who served as Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana in the First Republic, from July 1960 to June 1965. He succeeded Augustus Molade Akiwumi and was followed by Kofi Asante Ofori-Atta.

He presided over Parliament for most of the Nkrumah republic, the years in which Ghana became a one-party state. Few other details of his life are recorded in public sources; he had died by 1994.
