About Kofi Okyere-Agyekum
Kofi Okyere-Agyekum is an agricultural economist and former Unilever manager who represented Fanteakwa South in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2013 to 2025. He was born on 8 March 1958 and comes from Osino.
He graduated in agricultural economics from the University of Ghana in 1981 and earned an MBA in finance from GIMPA in 2007. He worked at Unilever from 1984 to 2000 and later as supply chain manager at Cleansing Solution in Tema. He won Fanteakwa South in 2012, 2016 with 60.8 percent, and 2020. He is a Presbyterian, married with three children. Duke Ofori-Atta of the NPP holds the seat today.
