About Sulemana Ibun Iddrisu
Sulemana Ibun Iddrisu is a social worker who represented Yendi in the Northern Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2013. He was born in Yendi on 30 September 1955.
He studied political science at the University of Delhi, taking a bachelor's degree in 1982 and a master's in 1984. He has been a regional director of NADMO and an ECOWAS election observer. He lost Yendi in 2004, won it in 2008 with 10,831 votes and lost it in 2012 to Mohammed Habibu Tijani of the NPP. He is married with four children. Alhassan Abdul-Fatawu of the NDC holds Yendi today.
