Daniel Ohene Darko is a lawyer who represented Upper Denkyira West in the Central Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2021 to 2025. He was born on 18 June 1961 and comes from Ayanfuri.
Law practice
Ohene Darko came to law later in life, earning his LLB in the early 2000s and qualifying as a barrister in 2003, followed by an executive MBA in 2011. He worked with Kwasi Blay and Associates and was a partner at Amicus Legal Consult before founding Betta Law Consult, where he is managing partner.
A narrow win
He won Upper Denkyira West in 2020 by about 500 votes over the NPP's Samuel Nsowah-Djan. In Parliament he sat on the Youth, Sports and Culture and Poverty Reduction Strategy committees.
The seat changed hands again in 2024, going to Rudolf Amoako-Gyampah of the NPP.
