About Seth Kwame Acheampong
Seth Kwame Acheampong is a manager who represented Mpraeso in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for three terms, from 2009 to 2021, and later served as Eastern Regional Minister. He was born on 18 December 1971 and comes from Atibie in Kwahu.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the Graduate School of Management in Paris. He won Mpraeso in 2008 with 17,519 votes and held it in 2012 and 2016, then lost the 2020 NPP primary to Davis Ansah Opoku, who holds the seat today. President Akufo-Addo then appointed him Eastern Regional Minister. He is a Presbyterian and is married.
