About Amadu Bukari Sorogho
Amadu Bukari Sorogho is a human resources and public relations consultant who represented Abokobi-Madina and then Madina in the Greater Accra Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2005 to 2017. He was born on 5 May 1955 and comes from Bawku.
Sorogho studied political science at the University of Ghana and did postgraduate work at GIMPA. He was HR and public relations manager at the Desimone Group before entering politics. He represented Abokobi-Madina until it was split in 2012 and then the new Madina seat, which he lost in 2016 to the NPP's Abubakar Saddique Boniface. In 2018 he ran for NDC National Vice Chairman. He is married with six children. Francis-Xavier Sosu of the NDC holds Madina today.
