About Aziz Abdul Muniru

Aziz Abdul Muniru is a procurement specialist and surveyor who represented Akan, now in the Oti Region, for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2017 to 2021.

Muniru holds a BSc and an MSc in procurement management from KNUST and is a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and the Ghana Institute of Construction. He won Akan in 2016 with 51 percent of the vote, ahead of the NPP's Kofi Adjei Ntim. Yao Gomado of the NDC holds Akan today.
