About Beatrice Bernice Boateng
Beatrice Bernice Boateng is an educationist who represented New Juaben South in the Eastern Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2009 to 2013. She was born in Koforidua on 19 August 1951.
She holds a master's in education from the University of Edinburgh and was regional manager of Presbyterian schools in Greater Accra. She won New Juaben South in 2008 with 61.3 percent of the vote but lost the NPP primary before the 2012 election to Mark Assibey-Yeboah. She is a Presbyterian and a widow with three children. Michael Okyere Baafi of the NPP holds the seat today.
