Emmanuel Kwame Duut is a teacher who represented Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo, in today's North East Region, for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from 2009 to 2013. He was born at Najong on 6 June 1959.
He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and was assistant headmaster of Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo Senior High School. He won the seat in 2008 with 28.7 percent of the vote in a split field, and lost it in 2012 to Solomon Namliit Boar of the NPP. The constituency was later divided into Bunkpurugu and Yunyoo. He is a Catholic, married with nine children.
