About Emmanuel Kwasi Bandua
Emmanuel Kwasi Bandua is a lawyer and former central banker who represented Biakoye in what is now the Oti Region for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for three terms, from 2005 to 2017. He was born on 11 September 1949 and comes from Bowiri-Anyinase.
Bandua studied economics and sociology, took a diploma in education at the University of Cape Coast in 1980 and qualified as a lawyer in 1990. He was a deputy chief manager at the Bank of Ghana. In Parliament he sat on the Business, Foreign Affairs and Lands and Forestry committees. He is married with three children. Jean-Marie Formadi of the NDC holds Biakoye today.
