About Henry Kwabena Kokofu
Henry Kwabena Kokofu is a lawyer and natural resource manager who represented Bantama in Kumasi for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2013 to 2017. He was born on 5 October 1960 and comes from Adiebeba in Kumasi.
He attended Kumasi High School, studied natural resource management at KNUST and later took a master's in agroforestry there in 2007, then studied law at the Ghana School of Law. He won Bantama in 2012 with 83.3 percent of the vote and did not stand again in 2016, when Daniel Okyem Aboagye kept the seat for the NPP. Francis Asenso-Boakye of the NPP holds Bantama today.
