About Kofi Brako
Kofi Brako is a freight forwarder who represented Tema Central in the Greater Accra Region for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for two terms, from 2013 to 2021. He was born on 11 September 1959 and comes from Akyem Bieni.
He went to Takoradi Secondary School and trained in freight forwarding in Zurich, and was chief executive of Teamwork Freight Services in Tema. He won Tema Central in 2012 with 68.3 percent of the vote and held it in 2016, sitting on the Roads and Transport, Gender and Children, and Youth, Sports and Culture committees. Yves Hanson-Nortey followed him for the NPP in 2021. He belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is married with four children. Charles Forson of the NPP holds Tema Central today.
