About Stephen Jalulah
Stephen Pambiin Jalulah is a New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician who represented Pru West in the Bono East Region from 2021 to 2025 and served as a Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways. He was born on 22 October 1974 and has roots in Saboba in the Northern Region.
Finance, marketing and law
Jalulah holds a degree in finance and banking, a master's in marketing with e-commerce and a law degree. He built his public career in local administration and health insurance, as a district manager of the National Health Insurance Authority and as District Chief Executive, first for Pru and then for Pru West.
Roads deputy
In 2020 he unseated the NDC's Masawud Mohammed with about 57 percent of the vote. On 25 June 2021 President Akufo-Addo swore him in as Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, one of the busiest portfolios given constant public demands for road repairs.
His term ended when Emmanuel Kofi Ntekuni of the NDC beat him in December 2024 with about 53 percent of the vote.
