About Alhassan Sualihu Dandaawa

Alhassan Sualihu Dandaawa is a National Democratic Congress (NDC) politician who represented Karaga in the Northern Region for two terms, from 2013 to 2021. He was born in Karaga on 17 February 1983.

Dandaawa studied banking and finance at Islamic University College in Accra, graduating in 2009, and law at Mountcrest University College. He worked as an administrative assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before winning Karaga in 2012. He is married with a child. Dr Mohammed Amin Adam of the NPP, a former finance minister, holds the seat today.
