About Kofi Amoakohene
Kofi Amoakohene is a businessman who represented Atebubu-Amantin, in today's Bono East Region, for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from 2017 to 2021 and served as Bono East Regional Minister. He was born on 11 April 1969 and comes from Atebubu.
He graduated in administration from Central University in Accra in 2005 and was chief executive of Customer Company Limited in Accra. He took Atebubu-Amantin from the NDC in 2016, one of the NPP's gains that year, and lost it back to Sanja Nanja in 2020 with 41.3 percent of the vote. Nanja holds the seat today.
