Winning back Sefwi-Wiawso
In the December 2024 election he won 33,656 votes to 24,926 for the NPP's Festus Bumakama Agyapong, reclaiming a seat Dr Kwaku Afriyie had held for the NPP for eight years. His early projects as MP include an eight-unit teachers' quarters for Abonse M/A Primary School and the distribution of 8,400 bags of fertiliser to farmers across the constituency.
